Don Johnson is a seasoned IT field engineer with over 27 years of experience since 1998. He is the IT Administrator and Co-owner of CrestPoint Strategies.

Experience

Don is a seasoned IT field engineer and former business owner with over two decades of expertise in Information Technology, starting in 1998. As a Field Service Engineer at Park Place Technologies in Omaha, NE, he delivered on-site system diagnostics, hardware service, and analytical support, ensuring compliance with service-level agreements. His technical proficiency and client-focused approach drive innovative solutions in today’s dynamic IT landscape.

Previously, Don served as a Client Program Manager at Fiserv, advising Fortune 500 clients on project scope, risk mitigation, and transparent reporting. As the owner of Tech Specs, LLC (2007–2017), he managed website development, equipment repairs, and secured reseller partnerships with IBM, Dell, HP, and Microsoft, while winning federal bids. His career also includes Technical positions at CSG, Inc., EarthLink, Inc., VintageNet, Inc., Great Western Bank, KALOS Group, IBM, and Cox Communications, where he excelled in systems engineering, technical support, and customer care.
A proud U.S. Navy veteran, Don served as an Interior Communications Engineer aboard the USS Alaska (732 SSBN) Nuclear Submarine, achieving the rank of Second Class Petty Officer (E-5). This experience solidified his technical foundation and disciplined approach. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Bellevue University (2019), graduating with Honors with Distinction.
